The Shamanic Journey….

“We are connected to the world around us. Every person, animal and plant vibrates with energy. The elements and the forces of nature give our physical bodies the connection and grounding for our survival and stability.

All too often in our current modern world we forget and fail to observe the magic of this wonderful planet that we live in. We are sometimes so caught up in the pursuit or our own creations and material gain that we do not see the obvious.

The world changes slowly every day before our very eyes and life moves in a circle that is perpetual. From something as simple as new leave uncurling in the early light of day to the force and power of the mighty ocean it is all a process of energy on the move. We need to be able to learn to reach out and experience that energy ourselves.

I pay tribute to this beautiful world and the land I live in through my paintings. The power and magic of healing can be seen and felt by everyone. There is nothing we as humans can recreate which would equate to the natural wonders of this earth.

For true peace to exist, for any barriers to be broken, we must first seek understanding of each other.

Some call me a multicultural artist and I consider it an honor as I have strived very often to highlight the special and sacred within any community. Irrespective of race, religion and culture we are all equal in this world. We have all been given our own individual gifts. All we have to do is appreciate and understand. It is the world around us and the guidance of our Creators that helps us do that.
